Activities to celebrate Learning Disability Week 2016

Learning Disability Week takes place from 20th to 26th June and we have an exciting programme of events lined up.

The theme of Learning Disability Week 2016 is friendships. Our programme of activities for people with a learning disability, parents and carers includes:

Wednesday 15th June: Parents coffee morning, Sutton Mencap
Sunday 19th June: Kingston Mencap Railway outing, Thames Ditton
Monday 20th June: Savvy Theatre and Action Replay present The Superhero Show, Sutton Theatre
Tuesday 21st June: A walk in the park, Beddington Park
Wednesday 22nd June: Danceathon with Zest, Westcroft Leisure Centre
Sunday 26th June: Summer barbecue, Sutton Mencap
Tuesday 28th June: Sutton Healthwatch event: Let’s Make Support Work for Everyone, Holy Trinity Church
